Tchaikovsky - Waltz of the Flowers (The Nutcracker Suite)

Tchaikovsky. Waltz of the Flowers. A favorite of classical audiences, and every ballet dancer's worst nightmare. It's amazing to think about how many incredibly memorable melodies were written by Tchaikovsky - there are 3 in this piece alone - it's almost like everything that came out of his pen immediately found itself in the hearts of audiences, a truly rare feat. What a way to end the first half of the year, and to end the '2 million' series of videos - safe to say this one is the calm before the storm. I hope you enjoy the video and have a great Tuesday (one day late with this video...) and a great start to July tomorrow ♥

SE QUE NO PASARA PERO QUISIERA DECIRLE ADIOS QUEDA YA POCO O NADA Y HACE TANTO QUE NO.LO E VUELTO A VER SE QUE NO.SERA POSIBLE PERO SOÑAR ES BUENO EL DESTINO A SIDO DURO

1:52 my favourite part

I came here because I recently saw a scene in Family Guy where Peter Griffin performs synchronised swimming to this tune with a troupe of bulls! (Those who don't watch it, it's a very random show!) Then I wondered if it was possible to play it well on the piano rather than with an orchestra. I guess you can, and very well!

These flowers on the notes remind me of a Japanese card game (Hanafuda).

I can tell in the last part Tchaivosky had an overload of passion for that rose bush ❤️‍🩹
