@KassiapianoToday, I’m sharing my performance of Chopin’s Waltz in A-flat major, Op. 69 No. 1, “L’adieu.” Composed around 1835 and published posthumously in 1855, this beautiful waltz is traditionally associated with Chopin’s relationship with Maria Wodzińska, to whom he had been engaged. Its graceful melody, delicate phrasing, and gentle melancholy create a deeply nostalgic and intimate atmosphere, making it one of Chopin’s most poignant waltzes.
